Millet Flakes is a base millet ingredient, properly dehulled and conditioned so it holds shelf life.
The husk on a millet grain is small and tightly bound, and dehulling it badly damages the kernel and exposes lipids that then oxidise. We condition the grain before milling, which is the step most commodity millet flour skips and the reason so much of it goes rancid in the distributor's warehouse.
We make it under your brand as a private-label product, to your own recipe as a contract manufacture, or from our existing formulation if you would rather move fast. Minimum order is 500 kg, with a typical lead time of 2-4 weeks.
