About this product
Ragi is the most calcium dense grain in common Indian use, which makes a ragi beverage an easy product to position and a hard one to make.
Two problems have to be solved together. Millet starch wants to settle, so the drink separates unless particle size is properly controlled on the homogeniser. And cooked millet carries a note that reads as bitter to a consumer expecting a beverage, so the formulation has to work around it rather than mask it with sugar.
We have solved both, which is why this is on our own label as well as available for yours.
